I bet that's not going to be a wildly popular topic, but damned if Roscoe doesn't like coffee. Much to her chagrin, I will not pour her a mug from the percolator, but I did find a reasonable substitute at the health food store. It's called Cafix, and I think it's been around for ages - I have some dim memory of encountering it a while ago. Comes in handy dissolvable powder form, made from barley, chicory, and beet root (mmm), and it's easy to make a cup with some hot tap water. Roscoe likes hers with cream and a little bit of sugar. Remember, folks, start 'em early!
